Mary Ogden Armstrong: 'Watercolor, acrylic and mixed media artist.'
Mary began her interest in drawing and painting when a young child growing up on a farm in Ohio. Horses were a favored subject as well as other animals. Education: BFA, Akron Art Institute, 1955. Other classes in drawing and print/graphics; Cleveland Institute of Art. She has worked in the graphic art/design field for 40+ years and has exhibited in local and regional shows, winning awards & honorable mentions.

Equine art is a specialty though other subjects are included and some abstract forms are part of this artist's style. Her art shows fluid movement, soft or strong in line and color. Colors seem to dance on the paper, board or canvas. Mary is also listed on 'Ohio Online Artist's Registry.'
